I-TV Thailand

This film owes a great debt to the generous assistance of I-TV and particularly the station's investigative reporter Jom Petchphradub.

For two foreigners struggling to understand the complexities of Thailand's southern insurgency the support and friendship offered by Jom and the employees at I-TV has been essential for this film to be made.

I-TV was Thailand's only independent television station – the rest are owned by the government and military – until the Junta installed government launched a politically motivated attack against the station and, as of February 2007, has now taken control.

Although Jom and the I-TV staff have been struggling to retain their jobs and retain Thailand's limited press freedom they never wavered in their continual commitment and support for our film.

I know that we are deeply appreciative of their assistance and particularly value the friendship they have offered.
